Arrow Doodle — Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and Pixel Fresh Studio about your use of the Arrow Doodle mobile game. By installing or playing Arrow Doodle, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please uninstall the app.
1. Your licence to play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Arrow Doodle on devices you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial entertainment.
You may not sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the app; modify, decompile or reverse-engineer it except where the law expressly permits; remove or obscure any notice in it; or use it to build a competing product.
2. Your account
Arrow Doodle creates an anonymous account for you automatically the first time you open it, so that your progress can be saved. You do not have to provide any information to play.
You may optionally link a Google account. Doing so lets your progress follow you to another device. You are responsible for the security of the Google account you link.
Your progress is tied to your account, not to your device. If you play only anonymously and then lose, reset or replace your device without having linked a Google account, we may not be able to restore your progress, because there is nothing connecting the new device to your old account. This is not a fault and not something we can fix after the fact.
Where two devices are signed in to the same account, the most recent update wins. We do not merge balances between devices.
3. Coins and hearts
Arrow Doodle contains in-game items — coins, hearts, hints, avatars and similar. They are earned by playing and, in some cases, by choosing to watch a rewarded ad.
Arrow Doodle has no real-money purchases. The app contains no billing integration. Nothing in it can be bought with money, and no payment information is ever requested or handled by us.
In-game items:
- have no monetary value and are not a currency, a credit, a security, or property;
- are a limited licence to use a feature of the game, not something you own;
- cannot be transferred, sold, traded, gifted or exchanged for money or anything else, inside or outside the game;
- cannot be redeemed for cash or any other value;
- may be adjusted, expired or removed by us where they were obtained in breach of these terms, or where a fault in the game granted them in error.
We may change the balance, price, earn rate or availability of any in-game item as part of tuning the game. Balances do not survive if you delete your account.
4. Rewarded ads
Arrow Doodle is free and is funded by rewarded video advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Ads are optional and player-initiated: you are offered one only when you choose to take a rescue, extra time or a hint. There are no banner ads and no ads forced between levels.
Ads are served by Google, not by us. We do not control which advertisement you are shown, and we are not responsible for the content of any advertisement or for anything an advertiser does. If an ad breaks Google's policies, report it through Google.
An ad that fails to load or fails to play does not entitle you to the reward. The game applies a cooldown between offers, a limit on how many rewards you may take in a session, and a daily cap; these limits protect the ad inventory and can change at any time.
Where the law requires it, you will be asked to make a consent choice about personalised advertising before ads are personalised. See the Privacy Policy.
5. Fair play
You agree not to:
- use cheats, bots, macros, automation, modified clients, memory editors or emulated input to play the game or to obtain rewards;
- change your device's clock, or otherwise interfere with time, to farm daily rewards, streaks, cooldowns or ad rewards;
- generate ad impressions or rewards you did not genuinely earn by watching, including by clicking your own ads, by artificially inflating impressions, or by any other invalid traffic;
- interfere with, probe or overload our servers or the services the game depends on;
- attempt to access another player's account or data;
- use the game for anything unlawful.
The game records signals that indicate this kind of behaviour — for example, an ad watch that is implausibly short, an implausible rate of rewards, or a device clock that disagrees with the server. These signals are described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Limits, suspension and appeals
Where we believe an account is breaking section 5, we may, in proportion to what we see:
- restrict rewarded ads on that account — disable them, lengthen the cooldown, or lower the daily cap, for a period;
- show a warning in the app;
- suspend the account, which prevents play.
If your account is suspended, the app shows a suspension screen with a reference and an appeal form. Send the appeal, and a person will review it. We will not always be able to explain in detail what triggered a restriction, because that explanation is itself useful to somebody trying to evade it.
We may also require you to update to a current version of the app before you can continue playing, where an old version no longer works correctly against our services.
7. Names and other content you provide
You may set a username and send us an appeal message. You must not use a name or message that is unlawful, hateful, obscene, harassing, impersonates another person, or infringes anyone's rights. We may change or remove a username that breaks this rule.
Do not include personal information about yourself or anyone else in a username or an appeal message. Both are stored on our servers and are readable by us.
You grant us the right to store and process what you submit for the purpose of running the game and handling your appeal.
8. Availability and changes to the game
Arrow Doodle is provided as-is and as-available. We do not guarantee it will be available at any particular time or that any specific feature will continue to exist. The game plays offline, but saving progress to the cloud, signing in and showing ads all require a working internet connection and the availability of Google's services.
We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, levels, rewards, balancing and the game as a whole. If we discontinue the game entirely, we will try to give reasonable notice, but online features may cease with little or no warning.
9. Ownership
Arrow Doodle, its name, artwork, level designs, silhouettes, music, sound, code and all other content are owned by Pixel Fresh Studio or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you. Trade marks referred to on this page and in the app belong to their respective owners.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what the game records, where it goes and how long it is kept. It forms part of these terms. To delete your account and data, see Account & Data Deletion.
11. No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arrow Doodle is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that progress and balances will never be lost.
12. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixel Fresh Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of data, loss of progress, loss of in-game items, or loss of profit or goodwill, arising out of your use of Arrow Doodle.
Arrow Doodle is supplied free of charge and we receive no payment from you. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us for the app (which is nil) and the minimum amount the law requires.
Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Ending this agreement
You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the app. To have your account and data removed as well, use Account & Data Deletion.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the game. On termination, your licence ends and any in-game items are forfeited without compensation, since they never had monetary value.
Sections 3, 9, 11, 12, 15 and 16 survive the end of this agreement.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change, and material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not accept them, uninstall the app.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes are subject to the courts of the Republic of South Africa. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings there where the law gives you that right.
